I’m back from vacation and feeling pretty amazing. We saw so many awesome sights, had some great laughs, ate delicious food and stayed quite active! (See this post for more on my intake while I was there.)

While away, we got to tour the amazing Atlantis Resort a couple of times, which just blew my mind. The sheer size of the place is shocking, not to mention how simply gorgeous it is. I took some pictures, but they hardly did the place justice.

One of my favorite moments on our trip was when we got to visit the beautiful Cloisters in the Versailles Gardens - WHAT a gorgeous spot. I’ve heard its been used many times for weddings, and I can see why. My only wish would have been for more sunshine on this day, because I can only imagine how insanely gorgeous this place would look with better lighting.

I also took every opportunity I had to capture animals. Lizards, birds, snails, frogs, and more all were major hogs of my digital camera space. What can I say, I’m a sucker for all things cute. =)

All in all it was a completely unforgettable experience. I am so grateful I was able to go and see all these amazing things, and be able to share them all with you. I am truly a blessed girl. <3

Happy Friday, guys!! It’s been a very long time since I’ve done a GPOY, but I wanted to show off this beautiful necklace my mother gave to me. It was originally hers, but she said she never really wore it and thought it looked like me - and I totally agree! ;) Moms are the best sometimes.

How beautiful is my baby niece Lily? This was taken a few days after Thanksgiving when I was visiting with my sister and her two children (including newborn Lily!)

I don’t even know when I took this über-short clip, or for what reason? Looks more accidental if anything (and that’s totally possible). But I stumbled upon it tonight and Marty’s eyes made me giggle and I had to share. This is pretty typical Marty style.
